For 34 years the Giro del Trentino has started to build its reputation as one of the major short stage-race in the world: to make a cycling event truly great, you need a professional staff and expert organization. This is what impressed Viviana Dallago, a young girl from Trento who prepared a successful degree thesis about the Giro del Trentino.
Viviana earned a Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Trento – Faculty of Letters and Philosophy, on December 2009 after a long and careful case study to understand how G.S. Alto Garda – Arco manages the organization of the Giro del Trentino. The whole thesis has been written in Spanish and the title is “La organización de un evento deportivo: el Giro del Trentino".
Viviana Dallago analysed the relationship between tourism in Trentino and cycling, focusing the attention on marketing and communication aspects to promote a sport event like Giro del Trentino. The organizers proudly helped Viviana in her work through interviews and official documents. The up-coming 34th Giro del Trentino will be held from April 20 to 23.
