GS Alto Garda-Arco welcomes Giro d’Italia in Trentino
Giro del Trentino race organizers happy with 2010 Giro d'Italia’s stage 17 to end up to Pejo Terme on Wednesday May 26
From 5/24/10Giro del Trentino’s race organizer GS Alto Garda-Arco welcomes Giro d’Italia as the 17th stage of the Corsa Rosa will end up to Pejo Terme on Wednesday May 26, whilst the day after the peloton will take the start from Levico Terme.
Pejo Terme has recently hosted two Giro del Trentino stage finishes, with Stefano Garzelli and Danilo Di Luca claiming victories respectively in 2008 and 2009.
In particular, race organizers would like to welcome all the cyclists who contested the Giro del Trentino, among them recent winner Alexander Vinokourov, Vincenzo Nibali and Ivan Basso, who won last year’s edition.
A special welcome also for local heroes Alessandro Bertolini, Leonardo Bertagnolli and two-time Giro d’Italia winner Gilberto Simoni who will end his career after the Giro d’Italia.
Giro d’Italia brings again in Trentino “RaiSport” (Italian national tv broadcaster) with Auro Bulbarelli and Nazareno Balani to make sure Italian people will enjoy the natural beauties of Italy.
