From 4/16/10With the start of the 34th Giro del Trentino just around the corner, the Italian four-day stage race continues to impress providing social support.
Race organizers reached an important agreement with the Exodus Foundation. Six guys of the Italian community founded by priest Don Mazzi will ride their bikes through the final kilometres of every stage anticipating the peloton on the finish line.
These guys are used to face difficulties as they fight for a better life against drugs. Their presence at the Giro del Trentino means life is like a cycling race: you have to fight to win.
Don Antonio Mazzi will join the Giro del Trentino on Thursday 22 as the third stage will end in Trento.
